Violet is a rosé wine with an intense color with shades from salmon pink to coral. Produced with Nerello and Gaglioppo harvested in the second half of September with manual harvesting, maceration of the skins for 16 hours at low temperature, soft pressing, static clarification, initiation of the free-run must with selected yeasts at a controlled temperature. What is obtained is a rosé wine with a typical aroma of red berry fruit aromas and floral notes. Ideal both with aperitifs and with typical Mediterranean cuisine.

Grape varieties: Nerello and Gaglioppo

Harvest: manual harvest in the second ten days of September

Vinification: soft pressing, static clarification, start of fermentation of the free-run must with selected yeasts, fermentation temperature 13 – 15° C

Fermentation: in steel

Refinement: on fine lees for 30 days and thereafter

Maturation:  for 4 months in stainless steel tanks

Color: intense pink color with shades from salmon pink to coral

Perfume:  typical with pleasant aromas of red berries and floral notes

Palate: full, vigorous and at the same time elegant

Service: ideal temperature between 13° C and 15° C

Pairings: goes well with Mediterranean cuisine

Alcohol content: 12.5% vol.
